Indian Premier League commissioner, Lalit Modi has lost the Rajasthan Cricket Association elections for the post of President, it was announced on Sunday.IAS officer Sanjay Dixit defeated Modi by a margin of 5 votes and will now take up Modi's place as the head of the RCA. This would mark the end of Modi's hold on the RCA where he was in charge for the past five years.The loss may prove to be a big blow to his position in Indian cricket administration. However, Modi still holds the position of Vice-President in the Punjab Cricket Association."I paid the price of being close to Vasundhara Raje (former chief minister of Rajasthan). The state government did whatever it could to defeat me."But it will not affect the IPL matches. They will be held in Jaipur only," Modi said after the results.
