ENGLAND VS WESTINDIES 5th TEST:Strauss, Shah steady Eng after Cook's exit


England made 74 for one at lunch on the opening day of the fifth and final Test match against England here on Friday. 


Earlier, England skipper Andrew Strauss won the toss and elected to bat first with Amjad Khan making his debut for the tourists while L M P Simmons playing his first Test match for the hosts.


England lost A Cook for 12 after adding 26 runs with skipper for the opening wicket.
