A determined 50 from AB de Villiers helped Delhi Daredevils post 143-7 in their 20 overs against the Rajasthan Royals here on Tuesday.
After electing to bat, the Daredevils were reeling with Virender Sehwag (16), Gautam Gambhir (8), Tillekaratne Dilshan (7) and Dinesh Karthik (4) back in the hut within the 8th over.
De Villers and Daniel Vettori (29) then revived the innings with a gritty 56-run stand. South African de Villiers was unlucky to fall to Shane Warne after he hit five fours and one six in his fifty.Mithun Minhas provided the late surge with an unbeaten 23 that came off 16 balls.
