BROAD HEROIC: saved umpire Raza in Lahore


English referee Chris Broad is being hailed as a hero for his role in saving reserve umpire Ehsan Raza from certain death.Broad was travelling in the same minibus as Raza and jumped on top of the umpire to protect him after he was wounded.The incident was brought to light by another Pakistan umpire Nadeem Ghouri who was travelling in the same bus.Raza is still said to be in a critical state. Broad, a former England opener is the father of current England player Stuart and described the incident as the most frightening incident of his life.
