From Australia, Catch the Spirit flag now travels to Bangladesh

Following the launch of the ICC centenary year in Sydney last week, the Catch the Spirit flag will now travel to Bangladesh which will celebrate its Catch the Spirit week during the triangular ODI series to be staged in Mirpur from 10 to 16 January. The flag, which will fly to ICC Members across the globe to promote the centenary and the spirit of cricket, will be carried by ICC General Manager – Cricket and former South Africa wicketkeeper David Richardson. Throughout the year, the ICC will be asking people to sign the flag as it makes its way throughout the cricket world......

Clarke scales new heights in Reliance Mobile ICC Player Rankings

Australia vice-captain breaks into top five; Hashim Amla and Simon Katich join top 20 for first time; Brett Lee drops to lowest ranking since January 2007 Australia’s Michael Clarke has risen further in the Reliance Mobile ICC Player Rankings for Test batsmen and has broken into the top five for the first time in his career. The 27-year-old right-handed batsman has jumped four places to fifth after managing scores of 138 and 41 against South Africa in Sydney to help seal victory over the Proteas in the final Test of the three-match series.
